High above the Sabie River in a private Kruger concession
Tinga stands on a high bank above the Sabie River in Lion Sands' private concession inside Kruger. Elevated walkways link nine riverside suites to the main lodge, and elephants and hippos are regular sights from the decks.
Each suite has a private plunge pool and deck, and the main lodge has a lounge with a stone fireplace, a pool and a dining deck over the river. Families are well looked after, with the Mack & Madi kids' club and the private Hinkweni Villa.
Tinga can be combined with Narina, its sister lodge next door, or with Lion Sands' lodges across the river in the Sabi Sand.
