Gonarezhou, "the place of elephants", lies in Zimbabwe's remote south-east, bordering Kruger and Mozambique's Limpopo National Park. Its red sandstone Chilojo Cliffs, rivers and wide-open spaces see very few visitors.
It is a place for travellers who want true wilderness, and it can be combined with Kruger or the rest of Zimbabwe.
