River Lodge
Luxury · From R 28 575 per person per night sharingThe original Lion Sands lodge, with rooms and suites along the river, a pool and a fire deck.
Enquire about River LodgeLion Sands has been in the More family since 1933, and its lodges hold a long stretch of the Sabie River in the southern Sabi Sand, one of the few perennial rivers in the area. Water means wildlife all year round, and the views from the decks are some of the best in the reserve.
There are several ways to stay. River Lodge is the classic choice, Ivory Lodge offers intimate villas with private pools, and the Fish Eagle Residence is a private villa for families and groups. For something unforgettable, spend a night in one of the treehouses, open-air platforms set high in the trees.
Lion Sands also has two lodges in its private Kruger concession, Tinga and Narina, which can be combined with a stay here.
